This one day introductory course to the world of NLP* introduces some of the Foundation in the context of working with others to promote ‘positive’ change. With practical tools, models and techniques, you can begin to use immediately to understand more about yourself and others, connect to others in a meaningful way to avoid conflict and misunderstanding as much as possible. Get clearer about your outcomes and develop you awareness of Language and Non Verbal communication, Perception, Thinking and Behaviour.
*NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming, which is a powerful and effective approach to Psychology and Communication. NLP has been referred to as the ‘The study of the structure of subjective human experience’ and offers us a way of understanding and working positively with human difference. Both practical and powerful, NLP helps us understand the way we make sense of the world around us that gives us more choice and control and how we can communicate more effectively and meaningfully with others in a way that makes sense to them.

We explore what ‘Change’ is, why we might change and how as workers who assist others; the things we can do to empower people to create positive change themselves.
‘Empowering Positive Change’ is focussed on inviting collaboration and positive outcomes that can create a win/win approaches to working with others. This is a practical workshop is aimed at developing skills and exploring concepts within practical contexts. Everything we do on the day you’ll able to reflect on and begin to practise and use immediately in all areas of your life.

Delivered by Eddie & Deb, Eddie is an INLPTA Accredited trainer of NLP and a Registered Hypnotherapist. Deb is an NLP Practitioner and trainer and we have over 25 years experience working in the Public and Private sector in Health & Social Care. We have designed and Delivered programmes in Learning Disability & Support/Care Services, Elderly Services, Careers Services, and more recently in Domestic Violence Services, Schools and Prisons.
We aim to ‘delight’ with all our training events and aim to make them understandable, practical and relevant to your experiences. This course has been run several times now and always receives a good response and bookings will be made on a first come basis. The price includes refreshments and all course materials, and there won’t be a powerpoint presentation in sight.
