We offer training & developmental opportunities and creative media services to individuals, groups and organisations. Throughout this statement, wherever we are referring to ‘us’, ‘we’  and ‘our’ we are referring to Roots2Reality ltd.

The types of information we collect

 The personal data we collect might include your name, address, email address, IP address, and information regarding what pages are accessed and when. This also includes information you have given us through feedback.

Information such as notes from 1-1 sessions, consent forms through our Hypnotherapy/NLP & Psycho education sessions may also be collected throughout our interactions fulfilling our contract of service with you and meeting professional and legal obligations.

Personal data means any type of data that can identify you. It does not mean anonymised data such as website traffic analytics and anonymised feedback.

Roots2Reality does not collect any Sensitivedata about you. Sensitive data refers to data that includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data. We do not collect any information about criminal convictions and offences. Any information you may choose to add via comments or through your profile on controlled by you.

We may process certain types of personal data about you as follows:

  • Personal Data may include details from notes made during our sessions together.

By law we have to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for six years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.

In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research, marketing or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

Sharing of your data

We will never share your private information with any third parties for the purposes or marketing. We do however  data with third parties for the security and analytics of our website. Through google analytics and facebook.

In cases of 1-1 Hypnotherapy to comply with best practise and registration we may need to contact your GP for consent and out of professional courtesy. This will only be done with your consent and copies of the consent letters will be available to both parties.

In some cases we may be legally bound to disclose information to the appropriate 3rdparties in the cases of disclosure where we are concerned  with the immediate health and well being of either you or another third party. In such circumstances we are required to share information

Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know such data. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

All our hard records are stored in a secure lockable cabinet behind 2 closed doors.  Data collected through email enquiries, invoicing, training records and appointments is stored locally on our IT systems. Dropbox, Microsoft One drive and personal network drives, password protected.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
